Stanger Industries was selected by Queen Foods to install a large freezer and cooler as well as all of the refrigeration for this large food distributor.

The cooler was 100’x37’x14’ with 3 – 31/2 “ panels while the freezer was 140’x60’x14’ with 4 – 5” panels. The cooler and freezer shared a dividing wall. The cooler included a pedestrian door, and an electric horizontal single sliding cooler door while the freezer had a pedestrian door and an electric horizontal single sliding freezer door.

The refrigeration equipment included:

two 12-ton condensing units
three 27-ton condensing units all semi-hermetic
six medium temp evaporators
six low temp evaporators
electric defrost timers
suction accumulators and head masters
control thermostats
all necessary refrigeration piping and insulation.

Stanger provided all equipment and performed the installation and start-up of the systems.
